This bracelet is handcrafted by jewelers in a small town called Tiznit in Morocco. For generations, Tiznit have been known as the go to place to get authentic and genuine silver items. The local jewelers make by themselves (in their homes or their small ateliers) on demand silver jewlery for local shops.

They have passed this traditional craft to generations, from jewellery design through to finishing. However, most of them are losing their jobs due to the unprofitability of the business. People are more interested nowadays in buying from big brands or cheap fake items that they can wear for a limited time and trash.

To contribute a little bit in reviving this tradition and supporting the local artisans, I decided to buy a few items whenever I am home (a city nearby Tiznit) and sell them online. This way I could buy from them to support them and more people around the worls would know about them. I am sure you will love these beautiful pieces of art, and hopefully if you happen to travel to Morocco and visit Tiznit, I invite you to visit the local shops and get silver jewlery for you or as gifts for your loved ones.
